HI THERE! I’M KRATINA BAKER, J.D.
Explore and Enjoy
From an early age, I have always had a heart of service. I watched my paternal grandfather, a WWII veteran and Methodist minister, give back tirelessly to our small community in Arkansas and it definitely left an impression on me.
Going into law school, I knew I wanted to work for criminal justice reform and help enact polices that benefit communities across the country. From the time I was a teenager, I have read and seen first-hand the effects an unfair and biased criminal justice system has had on individuals and their loved ones and the community as a whole. I entered law school with the purpose of working with an organization in order to influence policy. I am always looking for opportunities to work for nonprofits who realize that in order to gain measurable strides in criminal justice reform, we must expand our focus beyond the offender, but also to their families and loved ones, and to survivors and the community as well.
